Safety information for visitors / forwarders / suppliers

It is essential that you report to the porter on arrival and when leaving the premises. You will be handed a registration form.
External companies working on the company's site must always report to the relevant person in the respective department or to the coordinator (Health and Safety Practitioner)  Frederik Honikel - Tel. +49 6291 92 583.
Before starting work, please notify the respective supervisor, head of department or other accountable manager.

The StVO (German traffic regulations) apply to the entire site.
The permitted speed limit is 20 km/h.
When driving across the site, please be aware of forklift vehicles on internal business, which always has priority.

There is a general smoking ban in place throughout the AZO site. Smoking is only permitted at the designated smoking points. The intake of alcohol and other intoxicating substances is banned on company premises.
It is not permitted to used radios or coffeemakers that were not supplied by the company.

All mandatory and prohibition signs must be observed.

In principle you may only enter the hall area previously agreed upon. Entering other spaces and buildings requires the agreement of the coordinator or respective department.

The wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) in all hazardous areas is mandatory.
Please ensure you comply with workplace protocols, environmental and health regulations or accident prevention regulations as set out by law and in the employer's liability insurance. Statutory working hours must be observed

Note the marked pathways in the production halls and keep to these. Do not stray into the danger zone of transportation vehicles and crane systems. Please respect the fact that those relevant safety precautions may not be put to one side or made ineffective. Never walk under suspended loads.

Note that there is ban on picture, sound and data recording throughout the site. Any information, technical data, expertise or other company secrets that you learn during your visit to our factory are without exception to be considered confidential and may not be passed on without our written permission. The entire company site is monitored by surveillance cameras

In the event of fire, leave the building and look for the assembly point.
Assembly point for production = open space by the gatehouse
Assembly point for administration = entrance to administration reception

Assembly point for logistics / training / after sales = open space in front of training workshop
Before starting work, familiarise yourself with the escape routes.
